Went to pick up the cache with a possible summit option. Getting to the cache in ‘white out’ conditions proved testing as visibility was down to less than 10 metres at times. It seemed to take two hours to travel the half a mile to the cache but Chris still suggested there was an option for a summit attempt despite poor weather. John said he felt tired and I backed him, so the group decided no summit bid today. Motivation at a low, everyone at dinner was hoping for good weather tomorrow, I’m just hoping for an early finish so I can get home and see my two girls.
